Here at Ceramic Pro San Diego, we have all the answers. If you take a closer look at your paint (we’re talking about the molecular level), the surface of your paint contains tiny microscopic pores. These pores are open to the air and the environment, which is what allows dirt, debris, and UV rays to age your paint. One choice is to fill those pores with a wax, but this will break down rather quickly and requires frequent reapplication. A ceramic coating, like Ceramic Pro 9H, uses nano technology to fill those pores and form a covalent bond. This creates a glass-like shield over the surface of your paint. After a nano ceramic coating fills your pores your paint will be harder, easier to clean, and have a deeper gloss. Think of it as a harder and shinier additional top coat on the surface of your paint. Ceramic Pro 9H was designed to be layered in order to create a new substrate.
